Qualify - Advise - Accompany
With the "Qualify - Advise - Accompany (QAA)" programme, we are building on our tried-and-tested modular training programmes, which we have offered ourselves or developed and implemented on request over the years. In these programmes, we have trained professional multiplicators from various organisations and institutions by combining the following content and methods in the work against antigypsyism in various modules:
- Sensibilisation and self-reflection
- Deconstruction of stereotypes and attributions
- Knowledge of the history of marginalisation, persecution and extermination of Sinti* and Roma* with a focus on history of the Nazi regime
- Understanding and knowledge of current phenomena, forms and practices of antigypsyist discrimination
- Providing examples and skills for "good practices" in the work against antigypsyism and for improved participation of Sinti* and Roma*
- Development and peer counselling of practical applications by the participants as an opportunity for transfer into practical work
In our concept of "Qualify - Advise - Accompany", we integrate the proven approaches of the modular programmes and also offer advice and support for the multiplicators and their organisations/institutions. We want to build on or initiate existing processes of inclusion, diversity and human rights orientation, organisational and school development.
We are aware that, as a "small" Competence center against antigypsyism, we cannot manage comprehensive organisational development processes. That is why our focus is on reducing antigypsyism and improving the participation of Sinti* and Roma*.
Concepts for QAA could, for example, look like those we have developed in cooperation with the Lower Saxony State Office for School Quality Development (NLQ) and for other organisations/institutions:
