Events

Here you will find all current and upcoming events. Simply filter by format, year or month to find the right event for you. We continuously organise public events in the field of antiziganism in order to attract new target groups to the topic, create visibility and enable low-threshold access to the topic. This includes inputs and expert discussions, but also exhibitions, film evenings and other cultural events. We are happy to work together with self-organisations and actors from civil society.

Awareness concept for events

We want all participants to feel safe, respected and welcome. That is why we have a Code of Conduct at our event that we all stick to. This is based on our awareness-concept, which prevents discrimination, transgressions and violence and supports those affected.

What is awareness?

We want to create spaces in which all people can meet respectfully and safely without having to experience discrimination, harassment or violence. Awareness means treating each other with care and taking responsibility for each other.

What does that mean?

Self-determination means that everyone decides for themselves about their own actions and personal boundaries.

Consensus: We only act with consent - nobody is pressurised into doing anything.

Power of definition: Those affected decide for themselves how they want to be supported.

Accessibility: Our awareness team is clearly visible and available at all times. Whether before, during or after the event, the team can be contacted at any time at lea.minolla@stiftung.de. At events, the contact persons can be recognised by their armbands.

When can I contact the awareness team?

The awareness team is data-subject-orientated. This means that the awareness of the person affected is at the centre of attention. As a participant, I can contact the awareness team if:

  • my personal boundaries have been crossed verbally or non-verbally,
  • I am being discriminated against by other people,
  • I feel uncomfortable,
  • something is making me uncomfortable or I am not feeling well,
  • I need a place to retreat or support.

The awareness team is happy to listen and always takes every concern seriously. Whether before, during or after events.
